Deborah is an experienced development and fundraising professional with demonstrated history with annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, stewardship, and cultivation. Her career in fundraising began twenty years ago as the Director of Alumni Relations at Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT. Prior to her start at Gilda’s Club in 2021, Deborah worked at Sacred Heart Greenwich for the past ten years as the Annual Fund Director providing leadership and strategic direction for parent, alumnae and other constituency fundraising efforts. Deborah has a BS from SUNY Albany in Human Biology and a MS from Georgia State University in Sports Administration, Sports Management and Events.

Name a skill you would like to learn and why.
I would love to learn how to play the guitar. It would be a good way to reduce stress and bring family and friends together.
What is one food you cannot resist?
Pizza – my favorites — cheese and bread…and usually some delicious toppings.
If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
I would have liked to have seen our great heroes like Irena Sendler, saving thousands of lives during the Holocaust, while risking their own lives in the process.
What is your favorite part about working for Gilda’s Club?
Beside the amazing team that I get to work with every day, I love knowing that what we do helps the lives of so many impacted by cancer.
