Brianna is currently earning her Masters of Social Work with a concentration on mental health from Simmons University School of Social Work. She also holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Studies from The University of Rhode Island. During her time in undergrad, she was involved in providing Home Based Therapeutic Services to children who have special needs. In her free time, Brianna enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cat Delilah. She is excited for the warm weather to come because that means she can get back to kayaking!

If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
If I could choose to do anything for a day, it would be to hangout with Dolly Parton! I would want to go to her theme park ‘Dollywood’ with her in Tennessee. I love Dolly; my go-to Karaoke song is always ‘Jolene!’
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I see myself practicing as a Licensed Social Worker. I am currently halfway through my Master’s Degree in Social Work!
Which of the five senses would you say is your strongest?
I think my strongest sense would be taste; I am a total foodie! I love trying out new restaurants, and trying out the local food in places I travel to. One of the best places I have found the yummiest and coolest food in would probably be Hawaii. From the fresh Poke to the sweet Malasadas, everything I tried while I was there was absolutely delicious!
What is your favorite family holiday tradition?
My favorite holiday tradition would be playing La Tombola with my whole family on Christmas. La Tombola is Italian Bingo, and it is a lot of fun! My family definitely gets competitive when we play!
What do you enjoy most about interning at Gilda’s Club?
I think what I have enjoyed thus far about interning at Gilda’s Club is the amazing people I have met. From the staff to our members, everyone I have crossed paths with is truly incredible. I could not have asked for a better internship!
